Two-Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich
What you’ll need:
2 slices sourdough bread
2 slices American cheese
2 slices mozzarella cheese
3 tbsp butter (1 tbsp for pan 2 tbsp for bread)
1. Butter sourdough bread and pan.
2. Prime 2 slices of bread with two slices of American cheese and two slices of mozzarella cheese.
3. Grill sandwich in a buttered pan till golden brown on either side.
Pesto Grilled Cheese
What you’ll want:
1-2 tbsp store-bought or selfmade pesto (see beneath)
2 slices sourdough bread
2 slices provolone cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
3 tbsp butter (1 tbsp for pan 2 tbsp for bread)
1. Butter 2 slices of sourdough bread and pan.
2. Prime two slices of bread with sliced provolone.
3. Prime cheeses with pesto.
4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on pesto.
5. Grill sandwich in a buttered pan till golden brown on either side.
Selfmade Pesto
What you’ll need:
A handful of child spinach
~9 leaves recent basil
3 tbsp parmesan
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1. Add all Components to meals processor.
2. Grind till clean.
Bacon & Spinach Grilled Cheese
What you’ll need:
Bacon, desired quantity
Child spinach, desired quantity
2 slices Sara Lee artisan white bread (or different dense white bread)
2 slices sliced provolone
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
Salt and pepper to style
3 tbsp butter (1 tbsp for pan 2 tbsp for bread)
1. Fry bacon in a pan till crispy.
2. Butter 2 slices of bread with 2 tbsp butter. Add 1 tbsp to the pan.
3. Prime two slices of bread with sliced provolone.
4. Add bacon and child spinach. Add the specified quantity of pepper and salt.
5. Sprinkle on mozzarella.
6. Grill sandwich in buttered pan till golden brown.
Pizza Grilled Cheese
What you’ll want:
2 slices Sara Lee artisan white bread (or different dense white bread)
3 tbsp butter (1 tbsp for pan 2 tbsp for bread)
about 8 slices of pepperoni
1 tbsp pizza sauce
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1. Butter bread and pan (don’t skip on buttering the pan. This may make the bread good and crunchy!)
2. Prime two slices of bread with shredded mozzarella.
3. Prime cheese with pepperoni.
4. Unfold pizza sauce.
5. Sprinkle on Italian seasoning.
6. Sprinkle on extra shredded mozzarella.
7. Grill the sandwich in a buttered pan till golden brown on either side.
Fig Honey Jam and Gouda Grilled Cheese
What you’ll want:
1-2 tbsp store-bought fig honey jam
3 slices sliced smoked Gouda
3 tbsp butter (1 tbsp for pan 2 tbsp for bread)
2 slices sliced brioche bread
1. Butter brioche bread with 2 tbsp butter. Butter pan with 1 tbsp butter.
2. Prime two slices of bread with 2 slices of smoked Gouda.
3. Unfold fig jam onto either side.
4. Add yet one more slice of smoked Gouda.
5. Grill the sandwich in a buttered pan till golden brown.
